Last updated on December 5th, 2025 at 03:28 pm
It’s the jolliest time of year again!
Endless to do lists coupled with the excitement of the kids can make it hard to get anything do. To make things a little easier (and more fun), I put together a set of free printable Christmas coloring pages that are perfect for toddlers, preschoolers, and even the young at heart.
This set includes 10 simple designs with lots of big open spaces and cute holiday characters. They’re just right for an afternoon of coloring, and make sweet decorations for the fridge or a fun surprise to mail off to Grandma.
You can print them as many times as you need and use them at home, for school parties, or any other holiday event.

Why Simple Christmas Coloring Pages Work So Well
Over the years, I’ve tried all kinds of printables with my kids, and I’ve found that the simpler the better—especially for toddlers and preschoolers. When there are too many tiny details, it can turn into a meltdown instead of a relaxing activity.
They’re also a great screen-free option when everyone’s maxed out on holiday shows or you’re just trying to get through the afternoon without pulling out another snack.
If you’ve got a little one still learning to grip crayons, I really like the Crayola Jumbo Crayons or Honeysticks beeswax crayons. Both are chunky enough for small hands and less likely to snap in half in five seconds.
How to Use These Christmas Coloring Printables
There are 10 coloring pages total, and you can download each one individually as a PDF. That way you can pick and choose based on what your kids are into that day. Maybe one page while you’re making lunch, another during a Christmas movie wind-down time.
If you’re a teacher, homeschooler, or run a small daycare, you’re welcome to use these with your group too. Just please don’t repost or sell them. If someone else would like to utilize these Christmas coloring pages, please direct them to this post for their own use.
