One of my favorite holiday traditions has to be picking out new Christmas ornaments each year. And your baby’s first Christmas should be no different! How sweet is it to make or buy a new Christmas ornament to celebrate your new baby?
My parents started this tradition with me (the oldest) when I was a baby with a sweet Hallmark bear that marked my first Christmas. And then another bear ornament followed each year until I turned 18. My siblings all had their own category of ornaments and we each got to pick on out every year to add to the tree.
Now I love to unwrap all the ornaments from my childhood and help my parents decorate their tree.
I am trying to copy this tradition in my own family with the hopes that my kids will have their own set of ornaments to start their own Christmas tree in the future with their own family.
